Motivation:

The child is unique, it is an unreiterable "premiere" of combined features which become a "magical synthesis". Entering in the world of arts and trying to communicate and share the real values with the other around them, the child will have the feeling of recovered freedom, of its own satisfaction, of the living pleasure to create.

It is said that a child's drawing is a "screen" of his inner self. HOW and HOW MUCH can the subjective world of a small child be deciphered? WHAT hidden, unknown messages are expressed in the child's artistic creator products?

The answer to this question is given by the symbolic values of drawings as "vehicles" and "activators" of psychological information, which the child is incapable of expressing verbally, but only emotional-imagistic through graphic lines, colors, shapes, positions and dimensions of the characters or subjects that are drawn.

Communication through art is invested with significations, emotions, feelings and thoughts which the child lives in connection with the real world.

"You have to get to sing with a pencil or with the painter's brush as well as you do it with your voice", said Henri Delacroix, "to have the abilities of a great merited master".

In favorable circumstances, some of these child's qualities come to surface as a self revelation.

To "sing" with the painter's brush or to imagine with your mind's eye true paintings singing. There is a close connection between the two arts. Everywhere around the child there are colors and sounds that blend together and harmonize, beginning from the interior of our planet to the unlimited space above it.

"The cosmic music may be best observed in earthly or heavenly thing, in the element's and season's diversity and even if its sounds do not get to our ears, we know that there is a musical harmony in the sky" (Aurelianus de Reome, sec. IX).

Human's music exists in its body and especially in the soul. That it raises the soul, preparing it to understand and accept life. The beauty in music is a way to touch good, having a moral - educational important role. All emotional movements from our veins are connected through rhythms of harmony's virtues. Thanks to interior harmony, that fits our personality, we see exterior harmony as sounds. We see music from outside because it is already inside us.
