Maracaibo City is the capital of State Zulia and lies in the north – western part of Venezuela. It has 1.660.233 inhabitans.
Maracaibo is one of the important portuary cities of Venezuela and a great mineral oil center, too. The representative industries are the industry of mineral oil refining, the food industry, textile industry, building equipments industry. From the agricultural point of view the main crops are those of rice, coffee and corn.
