RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Supervises the development of the necessary conditions for the proper performance of the educational, sanitary and cultural institutions, and makes suggestions;
- Suggests the granting of the Romanian and Foreign persons with special merits, with the title " Citizen of Honour" of Ploiesti municipality;
- Advises the budgets and the budgetary allowances for the education units, health, science, culture, youth and sport units subordinated to the Local Council;
- Advises the measures imposed for the preventing and limitation of the epidemics and the animal diseases, as well as the ensurance of the hygiene conditions in the structure of the proper device of the Local Council and the subordinated units;
- Suggests measures for the information, the alarming, the protection and the leading organism training, of the employees, the population as well as the protection of the animals' collectivities and the material goods in case of disasters;
- Advises periodically notes concerning the health condition within Ploiesti municipality;
- Suggests and supervises the unfolding of the cultural and sporting activity;
- Suggests and supervises the development of educational and informative activities;
- Analyzes the suggestions and complaints addressed to the commission, sets up drafts, solves any other issues related to the commission's aims;
- Advises the drafts set up for the aims of the commission;
